Immediately following the end of the cross country skiing season in Jingyue Park, the Vasaloppet China Museum was opened in Spring 2011. Both the original Vasaloppet event in Sweden and the 10-year Vasaloppet China history are exhibited in this grand museum.
The two-floor museum has a total area of approximately 2340 m2, of which the ground floor is 1300 m2 and the height is not less than 7 meters. It is a unique building, a Scandinavian home in North Eastern China.
Since the opening, visitors to Jingyuetan Park in Changchun have been most welcome to come and visit the Vasa Museum and indulge in the rich history of the skiing event in Sweden…and in China.
