“Worldloppet International Ski Federation” is the full name of “Worldloppet”. It is an authoritative international skiing sports federation that operates worldwide, with its members being long-distance cross-country skiing (marathon skiing) events.
Among the largest and most influential long-distance cross-country skiing events held globally in different countries, those that stand out as the representative events of a particular country can apply to become members of Worldloppet. Currently, Worldloppet has 20 member events in 20 countries around the world (Russia suspends membership now). The Vasaloppet China joined Worldloppet in 2014 and became its sole member event in China.
“Ski around the world” (wear skis and ski around the world) is the slogan of “Worldloppet”. Different countries and event members, under the constraints of the regulations and competition formats of “Worldloppet”, exchange and cooperate, promoting and developing cross-country skiing worldwide.
Vasaloppet China 2026 is the first event of the 2025-2026 new ski season of Worldloppet. It will be held in the Changchun Jingyuetan National Scenic Area on January 4, 2026. Welcome to join us！
