The Vasaloppet China 2011 “Vasa Snow Angle” finally drew to an ending by Dec. 19th, 2010. Zhang Yongkun, a junior from Jilin University of Finance and Economics got the crowned 2011 years Vasa Snow Angel!
The new 2011 Vasa Snow Angel will not only get to be the “kranskulla” for Vasaloppet China and be the hostess at the Shangri-la Hotel “Vasa Night” Banquets, but also represents Changchun and China on Vasaloppet in Sweden in March 2011.
After Qualifications, Semi- Finals and Finals, the 20 best contestants got the right to take part in the Changchun TV Station for the last competition. The Whole final consisted of Swimsuit, Evening Dress, Chinese Qipao (cheongsam), and English Language Capacity. Miss Zhang has finally had the judges and audience impressed with her outstanding elegance and her fluent English. Mr. Sui Zhongcheng, the member of Party Standing Committee and the First Deputy Mayor, gave out the award.
