At a press conference in China on Saturday, July 5th, the organizing committee presented the news that Vasaloppet China now is a member of the Worldloppet series together with 19 other cross country ski events around the world. About 45 media domestic and international representatives from newspapers, radio and TV stations were present, among them the Chinese national broadcasting company CCTV, China Daily and Hongkong Dagong Newspaper.
Vasaloppet China, 13th edition, is held on January 2nd 2015 and passport holders of Worldloppet will be able to have the stamp on Gold level at the distance of 50 km and Silver level at 25 km. After getting the 10th stamp in their passport, among them one outside the own continent, they become Worldloppet Master. Mr. Hannes Larsson, France has already 25 Master titles and he has signed up for Vasaloppet China 2015.
