Students from 9 Changchun universities have now started their cross country ski training in Jingyuetan Park. The Vasa Education Project which is organized for the 5th year is a cooperation between Jilin Educational Bureau, Jingyuetan Park and Nordic Ways.
The students who can enjoy a longer track with more uphills and downhills this year train with instructors who are retired professional XC Skiers and who has been with the project from the start.
Some students display very good skills, and one goal for them is to take part in Jilin Province University Students XC Ski Competition on Christmas Eve – Dec 24. The students will also have their own Vasaloppet race – Students Vasa – which will go 2 km on the track which last year was the Students Elite race track
